What’s with Ipanema flip flops?

Last year, my friend who went back to Philippines left to me her new Ipanema flip flops which was a gift to her from her bro-in-law. Few days after she settled back home, we chatted using YM and she beamed in excitement that I just have the best flip flop in the world! Her sister asked her where’s her flip flops coz it’s the most popular (in line with Havaianas) flip flops in Philippines and it’s expensive. Oh my! Lucky me!Smileys Thanks Ate Renel!

Here’s my Ipanema flip flops:

ipanema flip flops

Have you heard about Ipanema Beach, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil? Ipanema is an endless white strip of sand in south Rio. It’s the home to the world’s most beautiful people, it is the place to be seen in Brazil’s steaming mix of cool bars, hot clubs and bare beach culture. Latin rhythms and chilled bossa nova grooves are the soundtrack to the tropical days and the long hot nights.

This is the inspiration for Ipanema – Brazil’s favourite flip flops.

Ipanema is the choice of Brazilian goddess, supermodel and beach babe, Gisele Bundchen. She slips into her own range of beautiful Ipanemas to take her from beach to bar. Only Ipanema flip flops are made from a unique buttersoft PVC suitable for vegetarians. Specialised moulding creates a sole that’s sublimely soft and guarantees you a perfectly padded underfoot. Industrial residues, painting residues, surplus PVC and the water used in production are 99% recycled. Whether you choose to stroll about all day, or only walk as far as the ice cream stall, you can be sure your feet will be in first-class comfort. Hot_Pink Ipanema

Hot pink Ipanema!

I love to buy another pair of Ipanema flip flops. This design is simple yet striking. The gorgeous floral design on the sole compliments the solid colour, creating a flip flop that brings you intricate detail plus great style.

So, what’s with Ipanema  flip flops? They :

  • are machine washable
  • mould to your feet for extra comfort
  • are 100% recyclable
  • won’t fade in the hot hot sun

Wanna buy online, check out Ipanema flip flops and chose gorgeous colours and the funky yet classic styles that will ensure that every fashion savvy foot will be sporting a pair this summerSmileys.

wearing face mask doesn’t look ridiculous after all

I mentioned before that even it’s fashionable to wear face mask in this swine flu season, I wouldn’t wear one coz I would look ridiculous! I was wrong! When it’s necessary, you can’t remember the word “ridiculous“….

Image(625)

Look at my student…she still look fashionable amidst the outbreak…

Image(636)

Look at the teacher trying also to match the color of her face mask to her get-up…LOL!

strangest bed I’ve ever seen!

I found on web something strange!

Really Strange Bed

What would I do with this kind of bed? Is this some kind of a joke…he..he…This is really strange, because its designed for just a specific sleeping position. You can’t straighten nor roll-over…LOL! and you need to sleep alone! As you can see this bed may be perfectly shaped for the fetal position, but who can sleep in just one position all night ? This leads me to the idea that this bed definitely wasn’t designed for a good night’s sleep. Why bother to have one like this? I deserve to have a good night sleep with my baby and hubby .

fave school uniform

On Mondays and Tuesdays, we could wear anything formal like this:

or this:

but I love wearing this one!

T-shirt and jogging pants with matching rubber shoes (it’s Sketchers by the way…LOL!). Yellow -shirt for Wednesday, pink for Thursday and blue for Friday with the school’s name at the back. I feel so comfy with it with all the dancing, twirling and other”acrobatic” activities inside the classroom…LOL!

At first, I’m not comfortable with it because in the Philippines teachers do have formal attires and some schools don’t want you to wear slacks but in here it’s very common for teachers to wear “PE uniforms” on school days. I think I started to adapt their culture.

Trying bikini for myself but with coverup

I’ve already found the perfect coverup for my preggy SIL. I’m also considering one for myself. I’m not “that” confident anymore to wear swimsuit with all the stretchmarks I earned from giving birth to our wonderful son Hyzyd.

With my planned coverup, I think this bikini will work for me:

bikini

Vix Swimwear Yellow Flower Triangle & Tie Full Bikini

This is designed by Paula Hermanny by Vix Swimwear. The embroidered yellow flower triangle top with embroidered tie full bottom. It’s fresh and summery print creates youthful style while hand-sewn embroidery enhances appearance. Pink flowers draw eyes toward a flattering bustline. It’s 84% Nylon, 16% Spandex.

coverups

Melissa Odabash Solid White Tunic Dress

This is the coverup that I’ve been telling you. I’ll feel so confident wearing my bikini with this..he..he..You may be laughing because the bikini won’t be shown-off if it’s covered. I don’t care…I just feel so secure and confident with this coverup. It’s a  Melissa Odabash Swimwear. The decorative sunburst stitching looks elegant . This tunic cover-up is a perfect accessory for any bikini for it’s sun-protective and stylish. Its functional design combines fine fabric and elegant simplicity for a fashionable appearance. Its decorative sunburst stitching adds unique style, isn’t it? Wearing this one would make me feel like a perfect for a Roman goddess!

Look HOT in maternity swimwear coverup

This coming August 11 will be my preggy sis-in-law’s 31st birthday. We’re planning to have another get-away just in Songkla and we’re planning for a SWIMMING into a pool!

I think that swimming is a great way to stay fit and healthy during pregnancy, right?…so it’s definitely worth taking the plunge. My SIL is hesitant to go swimming with us with a swimsuit because of her bulging 6-months tummy. I found in the internet about maternity swimwear coverup and I think this will solve the problem and is  fairly a good idea.

swimsuit coverup

The Maternal America maternity swimsuit coverup is the perfect pool or beach accessory for my SIL’s planned wardrobe! It is 50% Polyester Spandex. The stretchy breathable mesh is lightweight and easy to wear. She could wear it without a swimsuit over a tank or shirt as a great accessory item. Hope we can find one like this here in Hatyai in an affordable price.

I wanna share with you some TIPS on wearing maternity swimwear with confidence:

Step 1. Relax and feel confident that you can wear any suit you want. Some women feel that they need to hide the added weight by wearing bigger and bigger clothes as their pregnancy progresses. This is simply not true.

Step 2. Shop for a bikini. Showing off your pregnancy bump is hot. Pregnant women aren’t those who clearly need to hit the gym and are in denial. Your belly is legit and showing it off, as in showing skin, is definitely sexy. Also, a bikini will most likely fit throughout your pregnancy, whereas you may have to replace a one-piece.

Step 3. Stand up straight. Posture is important throughout your pregnancy as the weight is constantly pulling on your frame. When wearing your swimsuit, erect posture is important because it makes you look confident, and confidence is hot.

Step 4. Lounge all you want. Sit back and enjoy the sun and the people you’re with. It’s sexy to relax when you’re pregnant and give others the opportunity to help you out. (This step really only applies when you get big. Don’t overuse this.)

Still fashionable even in the midst of SWINE FLU!

bandana

What do you think of this tailored- bandana print mask/cover? It looks great, you can breath easier, and protect yourself in style with this new fashion respirators. It’s just in time for this SWINE FLU season and I think it’s a mask for party people…not me…

Flu Fashion created this new fad which they fondly called it “The Swine FLU fashion mask”. Graphic designers and online retailers are offering swinophobes everywhere the chance to make a fashion statement — even as they ward off the deadly bug. This is originally developed for hospital gift shops to put on small on children patients. So cool! but I couldn’t imagine teaching my kindergarten class with this on…I may look ridiculous to them..LOL!

Here comes the Fashion Explorer!

FashionFeverSpring06

After discussion with my sis-in-law, I decided to dedicate this blog to FASHION. It’s my way of releasing the “fashionista” in me. This blog will talk about various prevailing custom or style of dress, etiquette, socializing tips, fashion tips and all types of fashions in people that make up the world.

I remember our dream with my mother to put up a CLOTHING LINE or FASHION BOUTIQUE in our town. If this will be push through, at least, we already gained experience, insights and tips through this blog.

Make way for the FASHION EXPLORER!..and that’s me…:)
