New theme: The Lord, laughter and the little things

Since Fashion Explorer finds it new domain already, instead of talking about fashions’ experiences here,  this blog will house my everyday experiences that keeps me going- my walk with the Lord, my laughter and the little things that I enjoy from now on.

Why The Lord, laughter and the Little Things?

The Lord– “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility” (Proverbs 15:33). When God is central in our hearts, he can teach us His way through every experience of life.

Laughter– “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken”  (Proverbs 15:3). True happiness begins deep inside and emerges on our faces. As the adage says “laughter is the best medicine”, let’s laugh our heart out..ha..ha..ha…!

The Little Things– “better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than fatted calf with hatred” (v.17). maintaining loving relationships and enjoying the basic things of life are more important than wealth and success.

Fashion Explorer has its new domain

I haven’t updated this blog for awhile because I’m waiting for Sis Rose of All About My Life to help me export my old blog to the new blog that she hosted for me- The Fashion Explorer.

On my other blog, Her and History I joined a slogan contest hosted by Dj Tammy and  I won the 2nd prize . One of the prizes is 5GB web hosting by http://kawaiihost.net.

I’m not very familiar yet on how to enjoy the web hosting prize so I didn’t mind it at first. The sponsor of the said 5GB Hosting Space contacted me and asked for the domain name that will claim the hosting. I don’t have a clue on what to do then …he..he..It’s timely that I had a good chat with my dear friend Rosa who bought the new domain of Our Adventures Together and she bought (for the 2nd time) a new domain for my this blog with the wordpress platform so that I’ll let the http://kawaiihost.net host it for me! Thank you so much sis! You’re such an angel.

Rose the sponsor already set-up my site, but I’m still waiting for her to move or import my posts from this blog site to the new domain and changing the Theme Layout to something that is widget-ready because though I like the present layout, it’s not widget aware and also not to o suitable for my theme as a fashion blog so it cause me a slight problem.  Maybe she’s just super duper busy because she haven’t returned my email and yahoo messenger’s message yet. I’m just hoping she’ll fine time to do it so that I can start posting new article on my new site…

Anyway, just tonight I chat with Rosa and I told her about my predicament and she’s willing to help me to change my template. Thanks in advance sis. Hope that through her I’ll learn to change and install themes in wordpress.

I just wonder that tonight when I tried to open my new site I couldn’t log in! I tried so many times but to no avail. Hope it will be resolved soon.

Small Talk Six- How lazy can you get?

small talk six

Today’s topic is “6 things people do that you think are beyond lazy.” It can be answered with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . .Here’s my answers:

1. Reading blogs instead of doing what you’re supposed to be doing (sometimes, I’m guilty of this )

2. Procrastination-waiting to do things until the absolute last minute!

3. Rather starve than to cook! (LOL! I couldn’t do this…)

4. Watching television instead of doing household chores.

5. Leave dishes unwashed.

6. Eating instant food most of the time!

getting used with face mask

I dunno why I don’t want to wear face mask that doesn’t match with the color of my outfit.  That’s why I really spent a penny to buy  face masks that match with what I wear.

Just this afternoon, I buy another one- a blue one to match with my blue t-shirt uniform tomorrow. Where did I buy this fashionable face masks? It’s just along the side walk near our school. You can choose any style that suits your taste and personality. The cost is from 15 baht-25 baht per piece.

you could choose a lot from here!

Sandals with killer thorns!?!

I once stumbled in the internet about a photo of  this thorny sandal.  What’s the intention of the designer to create such a dangerous piece that with its porcupine-look alike feature, it will give anyone a run for its deadly pricks!

On the other hand, though it looks deadly and possessed a killing nature it still look gorgeous! If you gonna wear this one it will turn all  heads unto your feet…LOL! Maybe there will be some chikkas out there who would try to wear this one or would love to have this kind to add on in their footwear collection. Just searched in the internet on where you could buy this dangerous sandal.

Wanna try?

Best National Costume 2008

gavintra1Photo source HERE

I’m just curious about who won the Best National Costume of the Miss Universe 2008 pageant and upon knowing that it’s Thailand, I searched for it and I could say she deserves the award.

Miss Thailand 2008 Gavintra Photijak wore a national costume inspired by traditional muaythai style and called the “Spirit of Fighting” by Thai student Sathapat Moonma, a senior-year architecture student from Khon Kaen Univerisity. Thailand’s Gavina came out stage perform in Wai-Kru , Cherng, Kon and Mae-Mai muaythai, which won the best national costume award at the 57th Miss Universe pageant at Crown Convention Center, Nha Trang, Vietnam, with 80 of the world’s most beautiful women competing to win one of the pageant world’s most coveted crowns.

Too bad, Miss Philippines’ National costume didn’t win. Maybe though the gown is stunning, it lacks uniqueness unlike what Thai costume has showcased.
